JobDescription:

The Inside Sales position will be responsible for targeted sales activities in business accounts as well as generating product growth in existing accounts. The Inside Sales Representative should have a strong knowledge base of Richards’ products as well as being resilient, friendly, well-spoken, and professional. They are collaborative in nature as they will work closely with the various teams such as Sales, Warehouse and Purchasing. They manage the best interests of both the customer and our company by creating solutions and ensuring a smooth sales process. They provide effective and timely feedback and support to internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

Sales and Account Management

• Qualify leads Marketing provides by contacting customers directly to get an understanding of their current business needs.
• Manage assigned business account of customer
• Distribute larger sales opportunities to outside Sales team

Customer Satisfaction

• The Inside Sales Rep will be the 1st point of contact for their customer base.
• Process all Customer orders and returns in a timely manner through ERP system
• Managing customer expectations and transferring any escalated issues to sales rep and management when necessary.

Product Knowledge

• Increase awareness of sales strategies, new product introduction, and skill development by attending meetings, self-learning, and training opportunities.

CRM Maintenance

• Maintain accurate records of all communication with potential or existing customers including, follow-up notes, customer contact information and primary decision maker

Skills&Knowledge:

• Strong relationship building and excellent customer service skills, coupled with professional time management, organizational, and communications skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills, outgoing, energetic, proactive, positive and solution driven attitude with a strong sense of urgency
• Self-starter, with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Proactive management of leads and opportunities

Experience:

• Minimum 1+ years working in a strong customer care or sales environment.
• Good knowledge of PC's: including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Previous CRM experience an asset.

EducationRequired:

• Post-secondary Degree or Diploma and/or a minimum of 1-3 years’ work experience in a Sales, Customer Service environment is a minimum requirement for the position


Hours – 40 hours per week | Monday to Friday
Presence–100%intheoffice–Mississaugalocation,traveltootherbranchesasneeded.
